Dr. Alex Budzier

  • Alexander Budzier is a Fellow in Management Practice at the University
    of Oxford’s Saïd Business School with a specialisation in major program
    management. His current research focuses on how to build the systems
    that enable successful delivery of projects in the fields of transport and
    other infrastructure, IT, and energy.

  • Alexander has been invited to contribute op-eds, guest lectures, and key
    notes to practitioner and academic audiences. The research has been
    featured in, among others: Harvard Business Review, Financial Times,
    Forbes, and BBC Radio 4.

  • Alexander holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford.

  • Alexander first worked for T-Mobile International as a project manager in
    the marketing strategy department and prior to joining Oxford University
    has worked as a consultant at the Business Technology Office of
    McKinsey & Company, where he supported the turn-around of failed IT
    projects. He has more than 10 years of experience as consultant and
    adviser in the public and private sector to improve the delivery of
    strategically important projects among them High Speed Two, Crossrail 2,
    Hong Kong Development Bureau, Hong Kong MTR
